I've noticed of late that every little ecard shop bombards you with pop-ups and forces you either to pay a fee and join, or to give up your email address, which they then sell to SPAMmers so you can find your email crammed with Timex watches and herbal Viagra on a daily basis.
Not to mention sticking you with half a dozen spyware programs to slow your computer down and snoop on you.
Yuck.
Gosh, I just want to wish my pal a happy birthday, not get all this hassle, right?
Which is why I am setting up Fre-eCards. This eCard service will be free, totally, forever. I won't ask for your email except for the purpose of sending the card. I don't keep it, store it, and I most assuredly do not sell it. You CAN (but certainly do not have to) join up so that you can keep an address book here. But that is purely for YOUR convienence.
I'm not going to stick you with some invasive spyware.
I'm going to trust you to see something interesting in my sponsor ads or Google ads now and then that you will actually click on and perhaps purchase.
